Artist’s statement

In 1997 I began a new career later in life after graduating from The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. My preference at this juncture is to work in oils on wood panels en plein air. Escaping into the local landscape exploring and searching for ”beauty” among the ordinary, is my inspiration. I feel life is chaotic enough without illustrating it through art. I regard this challenging career as a gift; a blessing.
